You Make Real Activists Look Bad

Ahhh the BART protests. It's a hilarious example of why America hates America. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of a good protest for a solid cause with good organization. What I'm NOT a fan of is a clusterfuck of opportunistic jackasses who "fight" for causes that aren't relevant to their actual wants, that they don't understand, or that they simply wield as a means to start a ruckus to make themselves feel alive. What I'm even LESS of a fan of is when these geniuses decide to bother and/or harm innocent people to get their shits and giggles.

Seriously. What does this have to do with Oscar Grant? What does this have to do with No BART No Justice's so-called "cause?" And how does giving feminists guns help feminists? What's the point? I don't want you waving your stupid banner with the cute serif font until you know EXACTLY why I should be spending the next hour looking for another train because you decided you wanted to party on my time. I have nothing against feminism and am a feminist myself. I also strongly support the proper punishment and indictment of the individual who shot and killed Oscar Grant. Now, what makes me mad is when people go around distorting, defacing, and destroying the very causes they sought to fight for, especially when they relate themselves to a cause I support. How do you beat BART when all you're doing is making everyone hate your cause and make BART look good? Look down: the smoke is coming from them holes in yo' shoes, foo. Unless you're in a third-world country cowering from warlords and assault rifles (and you're not, you jackasses, no matter how much you want to pretend you're Che Guevaras), REAL activism and revolutionary work comes from changing the system in an aggressive but INTELLIGENT AND NUANCED approach, not this whole "let's go and shout at things until something cool happens LOL" bullshit.
